Is active learning* for you? Find out in Active Learning* Workshops!

Who: For anyone who is an instructor of record of a course at Auburn University.

What: 3 sessions, sponsored by IMG, Biggio Center, and the ITC. Bring your lunch and BYOD.

When: Spring 2014

AL Session 1: Flipping the Classroom                       March 21             11:30 – 1:00 pm

AL Session  2: Collaborative Learning                       April  4                  11:30 – 1:00 pm

AL Session  3: Mobile Learning                                   April 11                 11:30 – 1:00 pm

Time commitment: 90 minutes for each session and approximately 1 hour of pre-workshop activities to complete.

Where: Sessions will be held in the EASL Classroom, 2213 Haley Center.

How: Participate in all three or just the session on the topic of most interest to you.

By observing examples of their peers

    • Identify tools/technology needed

    • Begin learning technology needed

    • Identify resources/sources of help

  • Prepare for teaching in new classroom facilities
